A Family Farm in Manton, MI
Yeterra
Growing food, love, and beautiful things.
Who We Are
Hi, we're Marcio and Clara
We live in northern Michigan on a small family farm out in the woods. We grow things as naturally as we can, working with the land and regenerating the soil through crop rotations, cover cropping, and other no-till methods.
The name of our farm is inspired by the languages spoken by our ancestors (and still in our home today). Yeterra translates as "wild earth": "ye" means wild in Chinese and "terra" means earth or soil in Portuguese. More than anything, we're a family seeking a simple life rooted in nature.
